Yeo & Kira Puru are the duo you didn’t know you were waiting for until today’s release of “Three Dots”

“All I wanna do is talk to you for hours,” Yeo croons.

It’s a sentiment we’ve all felt. In an age where social media reigns supreme, chances are you’ve spent at least one night glued to your phone scrolling back through the Instagram or Facebook of an ex/crush just to see if they’ve made any new developments since the previous day. Perhaps your will is strong and you turn in for the night. Or perhaps you’ve had one too many G&Ts and you decide to engage in a Facebook/iMessage chat after 2am – when nothing good happens.

It’s the basis of Yeo’s new tune, “Three Dots”, and his new collaboration with Kira Puru.

Mate, we are here for it.

These two are easily two examples of Australia’s flourishing musical talent teetering on the edge of absolute greatness and it’s a gift that Yeo and Kira have finally come together and put their words down to music. The music and production is as slick as a sleazy DM-slide, perfectly matching to the guilty pleasure theme that underlies the lyrics.

“I can’t put this down if you keep posting, I’m in too deep,” sings Kira on that catchy as hell chorus.

As the new single drip fed to the public from Yeo’s highly anticipated album Desire Path (released August 18th), it’s safe to say that from everything we’ve heard from it so far – “Never Wanted That”, “Amy” – we’re in deep too.

Take a listen to “Three Dots” below.

Keep up to date with Yeo here and Kira Puru over here.
