Yollks is the moniker of 21 year old Melbourne producer and vocalist Elle Tayla and in “Return to Sender”, we’ve caught a lil glimpse into what this talented lady is all about. A foray into the realm of some intriguing and decidedly off-kilter electronic sounds, it’s clear that Yollks is finding her own spot within the local crop of artists continuously honing their own production skills and coming up with some gold.
“Return To Sender” pulls the listener back and forth between emotions; while it’s got genuine heart within its beat to get you wanting to move, yet a certain vulnerability also comes through from Yollks that is hard to shake.
A promising debut.
