Warpaint will be releasing their third album, Heads Up, come September 23rd and today, we’ve been loving their new single, the aptly titled “New Song”. The new tune marks the first piece of new Warpaint music in a little while, with the band members spending time outside Warpaint either exploring solo records or other creative projects.
Still, this is a great return from the ladies who last reaped in the praise with their self-titled sophomore album two years back. Dripping with gorgeous production and melody, not to mention that dominating vocal quality Warpaint always bring to their music that has the instant ability to captivate, “New Song” is possibly the band’s lightest and brightest song yet. We’re keen to see where this new chapter takes ’em.
