Single of the Day: Stonefield “Delusion” (2017)

Stonefield are officially back, baby. The Findlay sisters have unleashed their new single in “Delusion” this week, the first taste of new material since their sophomore album As Above, So Below wrapped up and the band joined Flightless Records.

Demonstrating a noticeable sonic shift for Stonefield, whose music had been marked by rich psych-pop licks, in favour of some darker, more intense prog sounds. Synths and rumbling guitars marry together excellently, as Stonefield play with darker tones on “Delusion”; this one is definitely a hypnotic trip.

Stonefield are on the road in the US soon but before then, catch them on the east coast in February!

February 2nd | The Lansdowne, SYDNEY
February 3rd | The Curtin Hotel, MELBOURNE
