Single of the Day: Self Talk “Bedside Dictionary” (2017)

Melbourne’s Self Talk have unveiled their new single in “Bedside Dictionary”, taken from their forthcoming EP, Almost Everything. Due out in August, the EP is set to be a powerful release from the indie rockers and if “Bedside Dictionary” is anything to go by, it’s going to be a belter.

Since 2014, the band has been flourishing as a live band, pouring energy and vigour into shows that have propelled Self Talk into the favour of many live music fans around the country. “Bedside Dictionary” feels like a great little nod and gift to those who have been rocking with the band since the beginning, as well as providing a solid entry point for those newcomers to their sound.

About ‘relationships that don’t really get past the beginning, not because they don’t work or the people involved don’t like each other, but it just doesn’t go any further’, “Bedside Dictionary” vents frustration but surges in musical optimism.
