Single of the Day: Selahphonic “Ghosts of 1999” (2016)

Sunshine Coast boys Selahphonic have a new indie pop jam we’re digging in “Ghosts of 1999”! Taking cues from the likes of Walk The Moon and The Wombats, the quartet have combined some strong melodies and catchy guitar hooks, marrying both with a bold rhythm and percussion section and some energetic and punchy vocal delivery, courtesy of Jamie Coyle.

Last year proved to be a big one for Selahphonic, spending much of it on the road, bringing their tunes to crowds at home and abroad at festivals including CMJ, Culture Collide and Canadian Music Week. Looking forward to seeing what these lads have got in store for us this year!
