Single of the Day: Kllo “Walls to Build” (2016)

The second single to be lifted from an EP I know I’m incredibly stoked to hear, “Walls to Build” is the latest from Melbourne duo Kllo.

The synths and keys progression on the song make “Walls to Build” seem almost fragile – there’s a warmth in Chloe Kaul‘s voice that wraps the listener up, but the pace and lightness of the track itself adds a cool edge. According to the duo, “Walls to Build” was the most difficult for them to write, but the end result is definitely one of our favourites we’ve heard from Chloe and Simon yet.

Kllo’s Well Worn EP is due out on August 5th on Good Manners Records.
