Single of the Day: Huntly “Please” (2016)

Melbourne’s Huntly – talented, dreamy and bursting with potential going into 2017. Solidly building a reputation as an impressive live act, the experimental R&B act have dropped a new single in “Please” and man, we’re here for it.

Between vocalists Charlie and Elspeth, the verses throb with longing and heartache, while the percussion and beats pulsate throughout. Huntly make music that comes through with a poignancy and urgency you might not necessarily notice at first, because your attention might be held more by the strength of the production or the captivating vocals. It’s in the wake of the initial playbacks that you notice that something extra that draws you back in and dig a lil deeper.
