Single of the Day: Gold Class “Twist In The Dark” (2017)

Gold Class. A Melbourne band whose reputation precedes them. As a result, the first time their dulcet post-punk reaches your ears, you’re already expecting something amazing – and you’re never disappointed.

The four-piece have just dropped ‘Twist In The Dark’, produced by Gareth Liddiard (The Drones). With a writhing bass line that twists beneath Adam Curley‘s distinctive and resonant voice, interspersed with the angular riffs of guitarist Evan Purdey, this track shows Gold Class reaching higher than ever before for new sonic direction.

The single release coincides with the band announcing a massive UK and Europe tour, as well as a national Australian tour in July. Just taking a stab in the dark, but we think you won’t want to miss them.
