Single of the Day: At The Drive In “Incurably Innocent” (2017)

Normally I’d be adverse to waiting 17 years between albums, but I’m willing to overlook it for At The Drive In. The genre-defying, prog-rock meets post-hardcore group last year announced that their second album, in • ter a • li • a,  would be arriving in 2017.

‘Incurably Innocent’ is the second track they’ve released from the album, their characteristic guitar tone etching out a deliciously thrashy melody alongside Cedric Bixler‘s (The Mars Volta) vocals. Fans are waiting with bated breath to see just how  in • ter a • li • a will stand against their 2000 album, Relationship of Command – this track is hinting at good things to come.
