One of Melbourne’s electro-soul bright new faces, Alice Ivy, has dropped a new single in “Almost Here” and it’s got us completely wrapped up. Incorporating some slick hip hop and horns into the mix on this one, featuring RaRa and Georgia Van Etten, the producer has created one hell of a tune.
It’s been a hectic year or so for Alice Ivy (aka Annika Schmarsel) – since the the release of her popular single “Touch” – which also featured Van Etten on vocals – she’s been on stages around the country and has even made her foray into the overseas market, hitting the US, Europe and through the UK.
It’s an exciting time to be watching where this talented producer heads next – turn up the single below in the meantime and keep an eye out.
