New Music Video: Grimes “Kill V. Maim” (2016)

Laneway Festival-bound goddess Grimes has released a new music video, this time for her tune “Kill V. Maim”, just in time for us to be getting proper hyped for her upcoming festival sets! The single, taken from her forthcoming album Art Angels had its music video show over in Toronto, directed by her brother and director of the visuals for “Flesh Without Blood/Life in the Vivid Dream”, Mac Boucher.

As you may expect, the clip is classic Grimes, full of her trademark edge and quirk – equal parts gritty and yet full of outfits and costumes that could easily pass in some high fashion shoots. Things are set in cool and graphic vampiric cyberpunk universe, with an industrial underground rave kicking off near the tail end of the clip that you kinda want to be a part of…perhaps minus the bloodiness.
