Music Video of the Day: Zen Panda “Cute Hand Touch In The Nutbowl” (2016)

This local psychedelic pop/rock outfit from Adelaide are doing some really good things. The past twelve months have seen Zen Panda support some huge names like Last Dinosaurs and The Belligerents, as well as release their debut single, “Cute Hand Touch In The Nutbowl”. Now, we have a crazy little video clip to match.

Alluding to the peculiar song title, we follow frontman Sam Lavers through suburban streets as he’s pursued by a bunch of eclectic and colourful characters after his nut bowl. There’s Adidas tracksuits, hook hands, shower scenes, cute touching and a whole lotta stiry-fry. With nuts, obviously. It’s equal parts modest and outlandish, inspired and sincere; all that is the charm of Zen Panda.

Check out the clip below as well as their Triple J Unearthed page for more new music!
