Music Video of the Day: Young Fathers “Old Rock n Roll” (2015)

Scottish trio Young Fathers have been tearing up Australian stages recently with their appearances at the Falls Festival so far and man, have they been a memorable act to have caught. Raucous, relentless and ferocious, the band’s music is incredibly unapologetic and vibrant, especially the material on their latest album, White Men Are Black Men Too.

Their single “Old Rock n Roll” is one such example and their music video for the tune is brilliant. Filmed in and with community of the Chipoka village in Mangochi, Malawi, the video highlights a culture and history that is more than the image mainstream news and general opinions may present. Way more. Have a watch below!
