Music Video of the Day: UKIYO ft. Chymes “Go” (2018)

WA producer and musician Ukiyo is fast positioning himself on a strong trajectory of success with the release of his latest single, “Go”. Like Flume before him, Ukiyo has employed a strong knack for production and stylistic charm on his beats, making the final result a track that is just so easy to immerse oneself in.

Bringing in Chymes on guest vocals adds to the atmospheric and blissed out vibe of “Go” and today, with the release of the official music video, Ukiyo completes this rather beautiful vision for the track.

Directed by Kevin McGloughlin and incorporating creative direction from Brendan Canty, the music video for “Go” captures some stunning scenery of the Austrian Alps – the visuals warp and bring today colour in a pristine way that matches the vibe of the song excellently.

“I aimed at evoking a sense of atmosphere and adventure while complimenting the beauty of the track,” McGloughlin explains. “[To] express a feeling of exploration, and create a calming journey for the viewer…it was an absolute pleasure to work on this project.”
