Music Video of the Day: Toothless ft. Marika Hackman “Palm’s Backside” (2016)

“Fat man and beautiful lady pretend to be a couple for the day…”

So goes the description of Toothless‘ new music video for “Palm’s Backside”, as penned by the man himself, Mr. Ed Nash. The new single from the Brit has seen him link up with the talented Marika Hackman and for the song’s visuals, the duo take to a theme park in Norfolk – a setting that weeps of sad nostalgia, with neon lights still flickering in the background.

Directed by Kit Monteith, the “Palm’s Backside” clip is a little candid look at the duo’s day out in this specific narrative – as Monteith describes of the setting, it ‘exudes a sadness because it had once been and I’m sure still is, for some people, a backdrop for their happiest memories, now crumbling…’
