Music Video of the Day: Tindersticks “Were We Once Lovers?” (2016)

A stunning new tune from Tindersticks has seen the group release the official music video for “Were We Once Lovers?” through Inertia this week. The single itself is taken from the band’s new album The Waiting Room (out January 22nd) and we love the deep energy and flow of the music’s progression over the song’s almost five minute duration.

According to Tindersticks’ Stuart Staples “The song’s structure was also challenging – calling the chords out as we played/recorded – It gives the song an unpredictability that is at odds with the intense momentum that carries it. And that deep lying nervous energy that only a slap bass could bring.”

Have a watch of the music video below and do find out more about this group – expecting some cool things from them in 2016!
