Music Video of the Day: The Deep Blue “Sleep In” (2017)

Indie pop band The Deep Blue are no strangers to the Central Coast and Newcastle music scene, but to those not in the know, these guys are an act to watch. Think The 1975 – but if they lived on the coast. Their songs are catchy, so much so that they’ve already garnered a dedicated fanbase with just two independently released singles.

The new single “Sleep In” demonstrates the best of The Deep Blue’s infectious pop, with 80s inspired synths that transport you straight to the dance floor. The music video shows exactly why they have such a dedicated following, the attitude of front man Blake Wares show their ability to draw a crowd, and perhaps one day fill a stadium.
