Music Video of the Day: Remi “Substance Therapy” (2016)

As we continue to near the release of Divas and Demons, the highly anticipated sophomore album from Remi, the Melbourne rapper and his collaborator Sensible J have dropped a new single and music video to boot! “Substance Therapy” is the latest from the House of Beige dons and marks a perfect follow up to one of our favourite songs of 2016, Remi’s link up with Sampa The Great, “For Good”.

Helmed by Jam Nawaz of JAM DESIGN, the video follows Remi as he narrates the darker effects of drug use. “When I take drugs, or drink it’s the equivalent of giving that motherfucker [depression] the coordinates to my house. It just makes everything so much worse. This is basically the sound of coming down.”

Check it out below! Divas and Demons is due out in September.
