Music Video of the Day: PARTICLES “Tennis” (2017)

Sydney duo PARTICLES have just unleashed a mini movie to accompany their single ‘Tennis’- epic doesn’t even begin to cover it. Their hook-laden rock floats between hard rock and garage rock moments, as members Dan D’Arcy and Skarlett Saramore battle it out, Mad Max style.

The clip tackles human relationships, washed with a little Tarantino flavour – yes, this means fake blood. Vocalist Dan D’Arcy says, “My character is ‘The feral kid’ who was a child character in Mad Max 2, its supposed to be him later in life. Skarlett‘s character is a wild rogue of the wasteland who loves nothing more then the pure chaos of the chase. It touches on a few different concepts: human relations, the battle of the sexes, primal/carnal/hunting instincts, machines as an expression of humanity and the violent car chase of life, death and love.”

Produced and Directed by Dan D’Arcy and shot by Luke Walker Productions, this video is the perfect accompaniment to single ‘Tennis’, that’s just some great, straight-up rock’n’roll. Get on it; this is bound to be an iconic film clip.
