Music Video of the Day: Monster Truck “Don’t Tell Me How To Live” (2016)

Rock band. Industrial work site. A lot of metal. Noise. The perfect setting for Monster Truck‘s new music video, no? “Don’t Tell Me How To Live” is an excellent little package of hard hitting riffs, classic hard rock vocal and well, it’s a lot of damn fun to listen to. Taken from the Canadian band’s upcoming second record Sittin’ Heavy, “Don’t Tell Me How To Live” is a great indicator of what’s expected and what’s to come from the band who have been consistently gaining momentum as a band to be watching, this year especially.

The music video, filmed with the aid of drone technology, looks as hard and cold as the conditions apparently were to film in. As the band’s bassist Jon Harvey has said of the process, ‘It was cold, wet and it was tiring, but it looks awesome. Next time someone says ‘drones’, I’m all ears.’
