Music Video of the Day: MANE “Bitter” (2016)

Adelaide songstress MANE may be a relative newcomer to the scene but she’s wasting no time in making an impression fast. Her new single “Bitter” is the first taste we’ve gotten from her debut EP House of Horror – a catchy, rhythmic pop and blues fusion bound to catch attention.

For MANE (aka Paige Renee Court), “Bitter” stems from a very personal place: “Bitter was inspired by a very evil, manipulative person – someone who was once very close to a family member of mine. I usually only write songs that are personal to me, but this song became an exception that flowed out onto the page of my songbook in a matter of minutes. If I’m totally honest, it’s probably too nice of a song for this particular person, knowing what I know now.”

The music video, directed by Benjamin Lancaster Powell, is equally as effective – fast paced and well produced, this one is definitely our pick of the day. Check it out below!
