Leon Bridges is currently in Australia, touring the east coast ahead of a highly anticipated Bluesfest appearance over the Easter Weekend and man, are we glad to have this Texan back down our way. With a new album – GOOD THING – on its way this May, Bridges has continued to get us hyped with the release of his new single’s music video, check “Bad Bad News” out, below.
It’s a fresh sound for Bridges – less steeped in that early 60’s soul revival, edging further into a cool, R&B arena. The original influences are most definitely still there, but as Bridges twists and turns through this clip, so does his music.
Leon Bridges performs at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on March 29th, before heading to Bluesfest in Byron Bay to perform on March 31st and April 1st.
