Music Video of the Day: Holy Fuck “Tom Tom” (2016)

The distorted, crackling opening notes of music got me first. As “Tom Tom” continued to unfurl, I became more and more hooked. The latest from Holy Fuck is an exciting indicator of where the band is headed on new album Congrats and this week, the film clip for the single has been one we’ve hit ‘play’ on more than once.

Shot in Romania, director Michael Leblanc captured the isolated and unfamiliar essence the electronic music Holy Fuck are known for projecting brilliantly through film. He says of the music video’s shoot, “I wanted to shoot most of the scenes when the sky was just about to fade and use as much natural light as possible. This helped with the surreal style I was trying to create.”

Intense and captivating, “Tom Tom” is certainly done justice here – watch below!
