Music Video of the Day: Harts “Power” (2016)

Harts is gearing up to release his new album Smoke Fire Hope Desire tomorrow as well as kick off a national tour in support but today, today we’re sharing his latest music video to get the excitement started early. It’s the first set of visuals we’ve seen from the Melbourne guitarist and performer in a little while, but it’s a flamboyant and colourful return.

Directed by Young Black Youth, who has been behind clips for the likes of Allday and Gang of Youths, the clip for “Power” proved to be a fun one for the man himself to be a part of.

“We wanted to make a performance based clip,” Harts explains. “The intention interlacing with symbolic imagery of the song’s message and meaning. The director’s concept and execution of this idea was great, which made it a really fun video to shoot.”
