Music Video of the Day: Grizzly Bear “Mourning Sound” (2017)

Grizzly Bear aren’t normally known for keeping creative ideas conservative when it comes to their music and the visual representations of it, so this new clip for their tune “Mourning Sound” isn’t a totally surprising offering from the group.

We head to Paris for this one and as director Beatrice Pegard does her thing, the audience is taken through a bright and stunningly shot commentary on women’s liberation. Featuring Clémence Poésy, “Mourning Sound” is a striking clip from Grizzly Bear, for a song that is definitely a stand out release from the band so far.

The tune is featured on the new Grizzly Bear album Painted Ruins, which is out tomorrow.
