Gordi is one of Australia’s best exports at the moment; I think this is a safe statement to make. Not only has her collaborative work and general hang-times with Bon Iver and the Eau Claire crew brought Gordi to a wider audience in the US over the last year, but her shows throughout the UK and Europe this year have been absolutely outstanding.
A shining light of The Aussie BBQ in London back in March, Gordi wowed us; made us cry and left us exhilarated by her performance. Thankfully, she’s backed it all up with he release of some new music from her forthcoming debut album Reservoir, in “On My Side”. Striking and captivating, the song also has an accompanying music video, directed by Kris Moyes and filmed out in the Californian desert at Salton Sea.

Gordi will support Asgeir in Australia this month before heading back to the US for a run of shows. She returns in August to support Gang of Youths on the road.
