Glass Animals have continued to unfurl the craziness surrounding their sophomore album How To Be a Human Being in the release of the music video for “Life Itself”. It’s an exciting time to be an Australian Glass Animals fan, with the four-piece of course, heading out our way next month ahead of the album’s August release.
Says vocalist and songwriter Dave Bayley about the ideas behind “Life Itself” and the broader How To Be A Human Being, the music is a bit of a patchwork of the band’s time on the road and their perceptions of the different types of people they’ve met all around the world.
“I try to sneakily record people,” Bayley admits. “I have hours and hours of these amazing rants from taxi drivers, strange people we met outside of shows, people at parties. People say the strangest shit when they don’t think they’re ever gonna see you again.”
