Music Video of the Day: Gin Wigmore “Cabrona” (2017)

Gin Wigmore‘s voice has long been a favourite of ours; classic and rich in soul, the New Zealander has been continuing to go from strength to strength. Her new album, Ivory, is out next March and in her latest single, “Cabrona”, Wigmore comes through with the goods as we anticipated she would.

The music video is the latest in Wigmore’s GIRLGANG project, where she has been linking up with five different artists in creating original visual pieces of work inspired by new songs on the album. For “Cabrona”, Wigmore worked with renowned skateboarded and mastermind behind Girls Is Not a 4 Letter Word (GN4LW)Cindy Whitehead, focusing on the punchy attitude of the song itself. “Cabrona”, translating into English from the Mexican slang for ‘bad bitch’, comes packing with a fun energy and the music video definitely plays into it.
