Music Video of the Day: Flint Eastwood “Monster” (2018)

Flint Eastwood was recently in the country for Falls over New Year’s (if you were able to catch her), finally bringing her excellent Broke Royalty EP out this way for the first time. Today, we’re digging her track “Monster” – the EP track that has this week had its official music video unveiled!

Directed and edited by Flint Eastwood, the final result is a slick and oft-haunting black and white affair. The viewer is taking into a dark space, as Flint Eastwood channels the intensity behind the making of “Monster” on screen.

“I wrote the song “Monster” about the dark nights that took place after the passing of my mom,” the songwriter has said. “The moment I discovered that things would eventually be okay again. These are songs I’d listen to on repeat during the moments after her passing when I felt like I was going to break.”

A powerful tune, check out the music video below!
