Music Video of the Day: Dappled Cities “That Sound” (2016)

Off the back of those successful Melbourne and Sydney shows, Dappled Cities have well and truly ignited an excitement within fans (*raises hand*) in looking ahead to their much-anticipated fifth studio album. Latest single, “That Sound”, has brought one of our favourite indie rock bands back into the mix and this week, we’ve been loving its official music video.

Directed by Sydney videographer Rhys Day and featuring some cool cinematography courtesy of Tyson Perkins, the clip is full of vibrant nostalgia and throwbacks, echoing the vintage pop sounds intertwined within the tune itself. Featuring the gorgeous Asher Bowen-Saunders, it’s impossible to ignore her as she cuts a great figure within the clip’s narrative.
