Cable Ties have smashed out another post- and kraut-punk dripping track in “Say What You Mean”- in this video, they literally smash it in this film clip.
Their sound is pulsating rhythm sections, interspersed with attacks from frontwoman Jenny McKechnie, her immense voice and driving guitar towering over the track. First heard by audiences at Meredith Music Festival in December last year, this song reigns in hard on the punk/antiestablishment message; “I am not a production unit/I am a human being”.
