Music Video of the Day: Bear’s Den “Auld Wives” (2016)

Bear’s Den have recently released an expertly shot and delivered music video for their single “Auld Wives”, a particularly stand out piece of music from the UK duo. The single, to be featured on their sophomore album Red Earth & Pouring Rain (due out in Australia on July 22nd), saw the band link up with acclaimed director Sam Yates, who makes his music video directorial debut with “Auld Wives:.

It’s emotional and centres on a loss of memory, from interesting perspectives. Starring Joseph Marcell (remember Geoffrey from The Fresh Prince?), Yates says of the music video, “Visually we play with urban and rural spaces in the same way the band are playing with opposing musical styles in their second, hugely exciting album.”

Check it out below – we’ve been hooked on this tune.
