Music Video of the Day: Banoffee “I’m Not Sorry” (2016)

Directed by Coco & Maximillian, our choice music video of the day comes from the ever-intriguing and talented Banoffee. Her single “I’m Not Sorry” continues to express this brand of fresh and edgy production while lyrically, Banoffee strips it back and presents perhaps one of her boldest songs yet.

She looks in on herself and avoids her own gaze at the same time in the music video, she faces the camera and stares down the lens at you, drawing you in. With hints of FKA twigs-like off-kilterness, Banoffee engages without having to put on a pony show of a music video. She’s a striking artist who marries sharp visuals with sharp music and that’s what we love about her approach to her craft – the cogs are always turning and she’s continued to show a great sense of creativity across the board.

Plus, she’s cool as hell. What’s not to love?
