Music Video of the Day: APES “Filter” (2017)

Some our favourite Victorian lads, APES, have dropped the visuals for their single “Filter” – all about that #OnlineContent. The footage, shot entirely on an iPhone over the course of a band practice, the resulting video clip is very tongue in cheek while the song itself worms its way into your head. As Ben Dowd sings, “I don’t mind it…”

The band’s album, Stranger Than Strangers, is out in May, with “Filter” being another enticing hint at what’s to come. It’s a more mature sound from the band; more refined, while the ante has definitely been upped.

You’ll be able to check APES out on the road soon but in the mean time, hit ‘play’ and double-tap them on Insta.
