Music Video of the Day: Alex Lahey “Let’s Go Out” (2016)

Alex Lahey  has been getting people stoked for her debut EP (still a little way off being released this year) with the catchy “You Don’t Think People Like Me”. Today however, we’re keen to share the music video for her popular new single “Let’s Go Out”, no doubt the track that brought many newcomers to Lahey’s music for the first time proper.

Directed by Jam Nawaz, who has been behind the Lahey’s previous visuals, the music video demonstrates that sometimes you’ve just gotta leave the house and take advantage of the good times, have fun!

Says Lahey of the song’s backstory, “‘Let’s Go Out’ is about having a good time while pushing the boundaries. Sometimes when we go out to have a good time, we might get a bit cheeky or do things that are slightly out of character, but it’s all taken with a grain of salt because we’re just out to have fun.”
