Listen to Sampa The Great’s link up with Estelle & Rakhi, “Everybody’s Hero”

Sampa The Great has continued to raise the level of buzz surrounding her forthcoming EP HERoes Act 2, with the release of a brand new single in “Everybody’s Hero”. The song saw the Sydney-based artist head into the Red Bull Sound Select studios in Paris with Estelle and producer Rakhi (Syd, Kendrick Lamar) to lay down the glistening track that once again, highlights Sampa’s intricate lyricism.

An evocative number that is both delicate but confidently executed, “Everybody’s Hero” calls upon the expectations people can position squarely on your shoulders, the weight of those, and the realisation that we need to be our own heroes.

As the beat weaves and wraps itself around Sampa’s rhymes richly, there’s an oddly hypnotic quality that streams through. Intoxicating.

HERoes Act 2 is released on May 12th.
