Listen to Japandroids’ first single since 2012, “Near To The Wild Heart of Life”!

If you’re like us, when news of a new album from Japandroids (and those cheeky few shows) started dripping through, hype and excitement jumped off the charts. It’s been  a long time since Celebration Rock brought the Canadian duo to the attention of many and understandably, the tour cycle that followed it led the band to take a much deserved break at the end of 2013.

Now, now, we have the first taste of what Japandroids have been working on in “Near To The Wild Heart of Life” – the title track from their forthcoming third album! The record isn’t due out until January 27th but as a taster, this single is delicious indeed.

Check it out below and start thrashing Celebration Rock and Post-Nothing now – it won’t be long before Japandroids are back on Australian turf.

Japandroids play the Meredith, Fairgrounds and Disconnect music festivals in December, while also performing two sold out headline shows in Melbourne (The Tote, December 6th) and Sydney (Red Rattler, December 13th).
