Exclusive Single Stream: Mcrobin “Concrete Feet” (2016)

Melbourne’s Mcrobin (aka folk songwriter James McGuffie) today gives us a little hint into what’s in store on his sophomore EP release Shallow Diver, in new single “Concrete Feet”. Set for official release at the end of the week, the new track sees Mcrobin step further out into the spotlight with some rich and rhythmic alt-folk music.

Co-produced by McGuffie and drummer/collaborator Jim Rindfleish, “Concrete Feet” endears, with the vocals showcasing depth and charm, while the composition of the song itself weaves guitar, harmony and percussion together beautifully.

Check it out below – Mcrobin will be launching the single in Melbourne this month and in September. See him perform as part of the St Kilda Festival at ‘The Church’ on August 25th and then on September 16th at The Wesley Anne – RSVP here.
