Exclusive Music Video Premiere: Wallace “Raffled Roses” (2017)

Wallace was one of those voices we heard in 2016, snapped our heads back round and mused, ‘Where did she come from?!’. Luckily, she is most definitely here to stay. The FBi SMAC Award nominee was the third most played artist on triple j Unearthed last year, now has a lucrative publishing deal with Mushroom Music to her name and is gearing up to release a new single in a few weeks.

Girl has put in the work.

Ahead of the single drop, not to mention an exciting spot at the St Kilda Fest in February and The Hills Are Alive in March, we’re stoked to be sharing this special live video of Wallace’s intoxicating “Raffled Roses”.

Bathed in purple lights, Wallace stands front and centre, with her voice taking the full spotlight. Backed by a solid rhythm and groove, that soulful Amy Winehouse/Jessie Ware-esque style punch that comes through Wallace’s voice is just an absolute standout.
