Exclusive Music Video Premiere: The Fratellis “Impostors (Little By Little)” (2015)

Taken from their brilliant new record Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied, Scottish rockers The Fratellis have released a video for their single “Impostors (Little By Little)” – a track which is destined to get stuck in your head (little by little), and a video which is pretty easy to enjoy. We at the AU are excited to bring you the exclusive Australian premiere of the video tonight!

Shot on 8mm film, the video was Directed by Melbourne born music video director Edward John Drake, who has also brought us videos for the likes of Van She, Yolanda Be Cool (“Sugar Man”), Stanton Warriors and more!

Drake had this to say about the clip, “8mm holds an energy unlike no other format – it’s in constant motion, capturing details through a halcyon, forgiving eye. Watching 8mm feels like reliving a memory – it’s fuzzy, often slipping out of focus allowing out minds to wander even as we watch. ‘Impostors’ captures The Fratellis best, memory driven – we feel the lyrics coming from real experiences, and with true 8mm film we find the same essence of spontaneity and honesty.”
