Brisbane’s Shanon Watkins has been steadily gaining positive momentum surrounding his music which, put plainly but no less enthusiastically, blends folk, rock, blues and more on that end of the rich musical spectrum. His new single, “Sunnyside Up”, is representative of his songwriting talent that continues to display blossoming potential and today, we’re stoked to share the official music video.
With a laid-back vibe that sparks callbacks to early Jack Johnson and a positivity behind the sounds to match, “Sunnyside Up” was inspired by the concept of simply being happy with who you are. As Shanon explains:
“Life is the journey and whatever happened, right or wrong you are who you are because of what you did to get there”.
