Exclusive Music Video Premiere: Leanne Tennant “The Pages Are Still White” (2016)

Leanne Tennant has been travelling through 2016 with more momentum surrounding her music continuing to swirl. She made a considerable impact at BIGSOUND this year, while her national album tour in support of Red Wine, Late Nights brought her captivating stage presence to more around the country.

Today, we’re bringing you Tennant’s new music video for her single “The Pages Are Still White”, the album’s second single release. Featuring guest vocals courtesy of Luke Daniel Peacock, the song takes focus on writers block.

“”The Pages Are Still White” is about me looking at the blank pages in front of myself wondering how I could possibly write about anything when there’s so much more important, devastating stuff going on in the world.” she explains. “When my producer, Jamie Trevaskis, heard the song he heard a total different message, which was a story of broken love between two people. He had the idea to turn it into a duo and bring in our friend Luke Peacock and see how he responded to the song. He heard the same message and the rest is history.”

The official music video for the track was filmed and edited by Eden Mullholand and follows a solitary journey on the road. The song is gorgeous and the visuals are a fitting match – check it out below.
