Exclusive Music Video Premiere: Jake Meadows ft. Daniel Johns “Echo of Tomorrow” (2016)

Sydney multi-instrumentalist Jake Meadows has made a strong impression on us with his debut single, “Echo of Tomorrow” – a moody, gorgeously textured song that has seen Meadows link up with Daniel Johns for a musical effort needing to be giving its due props.

Premiering on the AU today is the clip’s official music video; it’s dark, features some gorgeous scenery and really focuses on the rhythmic nature of the track itself. Striking in presentation, director Stef Puska puts the Blue Mountains on full show in the music video, as Meadows is surrounded and isolated by the setting. Meadows says of the clip, “I intended the outcome of the clip to be a journey from dark to light, proposing there is a darker underlying reason we are here, but we reflect finding relief and acceptance in moving forward.”
