Exclusive Album Premiere: Future Haunts – Rubicon (2016 EP)

Brisbane group Future Haunts bring some rich indie rock through on their brand new EP, Rubicon, premiering on the AU today! The latest from the band sees them delve further into some harder, yet more refined, guitar and percussion, while Ben Speight really hits his stride as vocalist.

Recorded between Plutonium Studios and Speight’s home studio, Rubicon shows the band playing with the solid foundations laid on previous single release “Ipso Facto”; the EP demonstrates an irresistible rhythm while licks of garage punch their way through and command your attention.

This second half of 2016 is lining up to be quite the exciting one for the band, with all attention squared on the release of Rubicon – Future Haunts will be bringing the record to life with some exclusive launch dates in Sydney and Brisbane next month and after impressing at recent shows with the likes of British India and Alex Lahey, there’s a definite amount of buzz beginning to generate around the trio.

In the meantime, take a listen to Rubicon in full below and become introduced to one of your new favourite bands outta the east coast.
