Become enamoured by HANDSOME, the latest Sydney artist you need on your radar

Now, you all might know and remember Caitlin Park‘s captivating music that was quick to gain momentum in Australia and abroad. Now, the acclaimed songwriter and performer has returned with a new project in HANDSOME – a bold and explorative new direction for the Sydney musician that has already begun drawing early acclaim.

Enter “Late Night Ball Game”, HANDSOME’s debut single. Featuring Joyride‘s inimitable presence, the song is the first we’re hearing from the forthcoming No Hat No Play EP, due out in early 2018. A defiant presentation of broody pop with strength packed behind it, “Late Night Ball Game” is a confident piece of music that is quick to hook the listener in.

“A little over a year and a half ago, Joyride and I pieced this song together.” HANDSOME explains. “”Late Night Ball Game” is a song that is so close to my heart because it so captures what it is like to be stuck in your own head when you’re deeply worried about having to reveal a secret to someone you love. It follows the story of a person coming out to their friends, their family, their loved ones. A story that often reflects turmoil, and hurt and pain. Why do we instil fear in our young ones who are simply wanting to reveal who they truly are?”
