Troy Cassar-Daley reveals he’s a fan of Tame Impala and praises Australian music on the ARIA red carpet

Country musician Troy Cassar-Daley is no stranger to the ARIAs, having previously won four awards at the music industry’s night of nights. After meeting Kevin Parker from Tame Impala on the red carpet, Troy had a chat to the AU about his kids introducing him to most of the artists at the event through their iPods, and his sudden love for Tame Impala.

Cassar-Daley mentioned that his son had started to play Tame Impala around the house and that he suddenly became a fan, loving that Parker was into old gear. He also said he “loves that the aspect of Australian music being pushed to the forefront”, admitting that he has no confidence in winning because he loves the other records.
