Psychedelic Swedish rockers Dungen compare delivering a perfect festival set to making a full length record

Last month, we brought you the first half of our in depth interview with Swedish group Dungen, who are finally returning to Australia for a headline tour with Meredith later this year. Today we bring you the rest of our chat backstage at the iconic Primavera Festival in Spain earlier this year.

During our chat we talk about the band touring the world – including regular appearances in the USA – the group compared perfecting their Festival setlist to making a full length record (they’re both 40 minutes after all!) and much more…

The group will be returning to our country for the first time in a decade to play Meredith in December, a show at The Zoo in Brisbane on December 5th, two sideshows at the Oxford Art Factory in Sydney on Wednesday, December 7th and in Melbourne at the Corner Hotel on the 8th. Presented by Mistletone, tickets are on sale now!

Dungen‘s latest album Allas Sak is available now.
