Oh Wonder (UK) on international touring, hitting Australia for Falls Festival & more!

British duo Oh Wonder broke out as an exciting musical outfit to be listening to in 2015; their story of releasing one song a month via their Soundcloud for a year has turned them into a band that people have wanted to find out more about, the cultivation of a strong fan base without having toured or properly releasing an EP or album until that point was impressive in itself.

Back in Australia recently for the Falls Festival, Josephine and Anthony had a recline on some deck chairs with us at Mt. Duneed to chat about their first shows outside the UK and how they’ve been able to absorb the wild reception for their music internationally as they’ve continued to take strides in establishing themselves in other music markets.

“It’s a shock to us that we can come here and play to people,” Anthony says of this Australian trip. “We’re very lucky that we can be here for a second time!”

“We’ve just been blessed with an amazing opportunity to reach a lot of people,” Josephine adds. “We just want to make sure that we stay true to ourselves and make some really cool art, and we share it with people and build a community of people that love music and are nice to each other. That’s our goal by the end of next year.”
