Bully (Nashville) Talk Australian Tour, Australian Audiences, and Frankie’s Cocktails

Nashville natives Alicia, Reece, Clay and Stewart together are grunge punk group, Bully. Their debut record Feels Like, launched this year and their tour has brought them down under for the first time. We caught up with them for an exclusive interview to discuss their touring experiences, attractive Australians and Frankie’s Pizza’s ‘healthy’ apple cocktails. Check out the full interview below.

The group have loved Australian audiences so far and have, according to Stewart ‘been looking at property and thinking about just leaving music and becoming Australians.’

On developing as a band on tour and handling bumps along the way, Alicia comments, “There are certain shows where I feel tight but some jams, when you play every night, it would be really nice to be able to stop and practice but I definitely feel like we’re a lot better at rolling with the punches when it comes to live stuff. We’re just a lot more laid back when it comes to our live performance, which isn’t something that I would expect anybody to notice other than us, but I definitely feel more comfortable. If something happens or doesn’t go 100%, I can deal with it as it goes.”

With six months of non-stop touring under their belts, Reece comments that a story from two months ago, ‘feels like a combination of two years ago and two days ago.’

Check back in for Part 2 coming soon!
